Shirley Todd Obituary

Shirley Ray Todd, 84, of Summerville, SC, entered into eternal rest on the evening of May 12, 2022.

Shirley was born December 19, 1937, in Raeford, North Carolina, a daughter of James F. Ray and Irene Jackson Ray. She will be remembered as a truly kind and loving woman who loved the Lord.

Shirley attended Macedonia High School and later went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant for Trident Health Care for 10 years and then Health South for an additional 10 years. She had a gift for caring for others which came from her selfless nature and giving spirit.  She loved flowers and plants, reading her bible, and attending church service online. Most of all, she loved spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren.

She is survived by a son- Darin Todd and his wife, Franca of Moncks Corner; a daughter- Wendy Fralix and her husband, Robert, Jr. of Summerville; five grandchildren- Darin M. Todd, Christy Todd, Kylee Todd, Chandler Fralix, and Jillian Fralix; two brothers- Jim A. Ray and Larry Ray; two sisters- Patricia Bounds and Judy Inman. In addition to her mother and father, she was predeceased by a daughter- Robin Phillips; a son- Timothy Phillips; and a brother- John Curtis Ray.

Her graveside funeral service will be held at Bonneau Baptist Church Cemetery, Sunday afternoon, May 15, 2022, at 2:00 PM, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL
