Shelia Jewel Causey Yonke, 75, of Moncks Corner, widow of Michael Vincent Yonke, Sr., passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

Sheila was born December 6, 1946, in Horry County, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Charles Richard Causey and Lois Mincey Causey.

A graduate of Berkeley High School, and a retiree of Santee Cooper, Sheila was an active member in her church where she volunteered in the nursery and the worship dance ministry. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, shopping, solving crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader who had quite the book collection. She will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Surviving are a daughter- Pam Yonke of Moncks Corner; a brother- Charles Richard Causey, Jr. of Timmonsville; grandchildren- Lori Beth of Moncks Corner and Katelyn Anderson; great-grandchildren- Mark Anthony Collins, Ryan Dirks, and Jason Blake Dirks. She is predeceased by her husband- Michael Vincent Yonke, Sr., and her son- Michael Yonke, Jr.
