Robert “Bobby” Knight Bobbitt, Sr.,85, of St. Stephen, passed away Thursday December 24, 2020 at his residence.

Robert was born August 29, 1935 in Franklin, Virginia, a son of Robert Edward Bobbitt and Ellen Huxford Bobbitt.

A retired Sergeant in charge of security for the Berkeley Campus of Trident Technical College, Robert had served his country in the US Army. He spent many years coaching Little League Football in the St. Stephen Community as well as an Assistant Coach for the St. Stephen Academy Football Team. He will be sadly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Barbara Stalvey Bobbitt of St. Stephen; two sons- Robert “Bob” Bobbitt, Jr. of Rex, Georgia and Mike Bobbitt and his wife, Susan, of Summerville; a daughter- Sandy Bobbitt Campbell of Summerville; a brother- Edward Bobbitt of Florida; five granddaughters- Chelsea, Kristen, Megan, Katelyn and Madison.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
