Keath Laney

Larry Keath Laney, 55, of Moncks Corner, husband of Lynn Hartkemeyer Laney passed away April 30, 2021.

Keath was born September 17, 1965 in Gadsen, Alabama a son of Larry Lynn Laney and Glenice Sue Blevins Laney.

A veteran of the US Navy, Keath retired from the military in 2005 after 20 years of loyal service, he loved his country and was very patriotic. He was a huge Alabama football fan and was easily recognized around town in his Red Chevy Silverado Truck covered in his collection of Alabama magnets. Keath was “9 years proud and sober” and will be missed by his family, friends and three dogs, that he loved like his kids.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Lynn, are two sons-Drew Laney of Columbia and Kraig Laney and his wife, Brooke, of Daniel Island; a sister- Janice Mays and her husband, Greg, of Murphy, NC; a brother- Wayne Laney and his wife, Rosie, of Tybee Island, Ga.; one nephew and numerous nieces. In addition to his parents, Keath was predeceased by a brother- Johnny Laney.
