Elizabeth (Mitchum) Wyndham

Elizabeth Mitchum Wyndham, 95, of Moncks Corner, widow of Frampton E. Wyndham, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Elizabeth was born in Bethera, South Carolina, the daughter of Walter Mitchum and Julia Phillips Mitchum.

Mrs. Wyndham was a devoted Christian and a member of Macedonia Christian Church where she faithfully served in the nursery and in Sunday School for many years. She worked on the family farm and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends whom she loved dearly. Elizabeth was known for her hospitality and for making everyone feel welcome in her home. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Surviving are a son- Greg Wyndham and his wife, Lauren of Wheatland, WY; two daughters- Linda Dupree and her husband, Harry of Moncks Corner; Karen Clontz and her husband, David of Moncks Corner; one daughter-in-law- Shelby W. Wyndham; one son-in-law- Roy Edwards; two brothers- James Mitchum and his wife, Ann of Wilson, NC; Rhelma Mitchum of Laurens, SC; one sister-in-law- Gladys Mitchum of Manchester, GA; seven grandchildren- Grayson Wyndham and his wife, Amber; Brandon Clontz and his wife, Kristin; Wyndham Dupree and his wife, Lauren; Hope, Haley and Hannah Dupree; six great-grandchildren- Covi, Emoree, and Blakely Clontz, Lucas and Reese Wyndham, and Kaylee Kizer. She was predeceased by her sons- Eddie and Stanley Wyndham, a daughter- Gail Edwards, and a granddaughter- Greer Wyndham.

Her memorial service will be held at Macedonia Christian Church on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 12 o’clock, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 o'clock until the hour of service.
