Elizabeth Kinard Obituary

Elizabeth Louise Landreth Kinard, 86, of North Charleston, went to be with our Lord and Savior Thursday, March 12, 2020.

Elizabeth was born May 30, 1933 in North Charleston, a daughter of the late Albert Landreth and Louise Nelson Larsen.

A beautiful and inspirational Child of Christ who loved the Lord with all her heart. Elizabeth found great joy and comfort in reading His Word. She was musically gifted in multiple instruments including piano and “Hawaiian” guitar, having once performed at Carnegie Hall. Elizabeth was a Patriot and a history buff who was so proud to be an American. Everyone she came in contact with was uplifted and encouraged. She loved ministering to others and was truly one of the Lord’s good and faithful servants.

Surviving are six children- Edward Marion Kinard and his wife, Leah, of Summerton; Richard Dennis Kinard and his wife, Reba, of Dorchester; Deborah Kinard Floyd and her husband, Bert, of North Charleston; Robert Russell “Rusty” Kinard of North Charleston; Herbert “Randy” Kinard and his wife, Rose, of Goose Creek; Gail Kinard Miller and her husband, Bobby, of Cottageville; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Elizabeth was predeceased by a daughter- Brenda Diane Kinard and a brother- Carl A. Landreth.

All services will be private.
