Doris (Harrison) Norton

Doris Harrison Norton was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She suddenly left this world on September 6th, 2022 at the age of 89. 

She was born on October 28, 1932, in Haines City, FL to John C. Harrison and Louise Creech Harrison.

Mrs. Norton loved her community tremendously and worked at Barron’s Department Store for over 35 years. Doris was a strong-willed woman, a hard worker, and devoted to her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. 

Surviving are a son- Kenneth Norton; a granddaughter- Kacee Tannenbaum and her husband, Jay; two great-grandchildren- Logan and Ziva Tannenbaum and a brother- Fred Harrison. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gene Norton, a daughter- Judith Wyndham; and siblings- Paul and Eugene Harrison.

Her graveside service will be held at Whispering Pines Memorial Garden, Saturday morning, September 17, 2022, at 11 o’clock, directed by Russell Funeral Chapel.
