Darrell Jones

Darrell Lynn Jones, 56, of Summerville, husband of Kelly Mosley Jones passed away Monday, April 5, 2021.

Darrell was born March 18, 1965 in Biloxi, Mississippi, son of the late Jerry Lynn Jones and Rosemary Guerry Jones.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Darrell served his country in the US Air Force. He earned a degree in Health Care Administration from The Medical University of South Carolina as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. He was a retired Chief Executive Officer for Select Medical. Darrell enjoyed golfing and “his bourbon.”  He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife Kelly, are two daughters- Angela Snyder and her husband, Robert, of Ridgeville and Amanda Hefner and her husband, Joel, of Goose Creek; three grandchildren- Tristan, Elizabeth and Rosemary; a sister- Debra Howard and her husband, Chris, of Summerville; a brother- Kevin Jones and his wife, Michele Dames, of Tallahassee, Fl., his extended family and a host of amazing friends.

His memorial service, with military honors, will be held at Russell Funeral Chapel, Moncks Corner, Friday afternoon April 9, 2021 at 3 o’clock. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 2 o’clock until the hour of service.
