Daniel Dane Cross

Daniel Dane Cross, 73, of Moncks Corner, husband of Martha Driggers Cross, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022.

Daniel was born August 13, 1948, in Moncks Corner, SC, the son of Adam Cross and Edna Adkins Cross.

Mr. Cross was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and a member of Carnes Crossroad Church of God, and the Berkeley Masonic Lodge, # 269. He was a graduate of Cross High School and a retired electrician who enjoyed time spent hunting, fishing and most of all, time spent with his family. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son- Daniel Dane Cross, Jr. and his wife, Lee of Moncks Corner; two daughters- Dina Fiddie and her husband, Jay of Moncks Corner; Alison Knight and her husband, Bobby of Cross; grandchildren- Taylor Fiddie, J.R. Fiddie, Dalton Knight, Corbin Knight, Allen Cross and his wife, Meghan; a brother- Michael Cross and his wife, Carla of Eutawville; four sisters- Evanne Murray and her husband, Donald of Lebanon; Janice Johnson and her husband, JB of Vance; Emily Branton and her husband, Jimmy of Moncks Corner, and Teresa Myers and her husband, George of Elloree.

His funeral service will be held at Carnes Crossroad Church of God, Monday, January 24, 2022, at 12 o’clock. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 o’clock until the hour of service.
