Andrew Casey Johnson

Andrew “Casey” Johnson, 33, of St. Stephen, husband of Jessica Hardee Johnson, passed away on July 28, 2022.

Casey was born January 16, 1989, in Charlotte, North Carolina, a son of Jimmy Creg Johnson and Cindy Ann Matthews Stewart.

He attended Lake Norman High School and received his G.E.D. from Mitchell Community College.   A metal fabrication machinist of 10 years, Casey formerly worked for Kennametal Service and more recently for Primetals Technologies where he will surely be missed.

Casey was a wonderful husband and father who wholeheartedly loved his family. He had a gift for bringing joy to those around him and for making sure they felt loved and cared for.  He enjoyed riding fast motorcycles and playing his guitar but most of all he adored playing games with his son and creating fun dances to enjoy with all of his children.  

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his children- Summer Dodson, Austin Floyd, Brooklyn Floyd, and Jasper Johnson; three brothers- Jason Matthews, Christopher Johnson, and Jimmy Johnson; and a sister- Brooke Young.  He was predeceased by his grandparents- Joseph Johnson and, William and Helen Matthews.

His memorial service will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Wednesday morning, August 3, 2022, at 11 o’clock
