Willie L. Mackey, Jr.

MACKEY, Willie “Bill” L., Jr., 56, of Moncks Corner, husband of Denise Driggers Mackey, died Friday, November 11, 2011, at his residence.

Bill was born May 24, 1955, in Colleton County, the son of Willie Mackey, Sr., and Jessie Miller Mackey.

He was retired from Berkeley Sanitation Department and had been a volunteer with the Berkeley County Fire and Rescue Departments. He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are two sisters-in-law: Tina Toxey and her husband, Wayne, of Cross; and Sherrie Winn of Summerville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday afternoon, November 18,
2011, in Berkeley Baptist Church, at 1 o'clock.
