Tabatha Lynn Hazzard, born on March 2, 1970, in Manchester, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, in Summerville, South Carolina. She was a devoted wife a loving mother, and a cherished grandmother whose life was defined by her big heart and unwavering commitment to family.
Tabatha embraced the joys of life with an enthusiasm that was infectious. She found immense pleasure in gathering her loved ones for family dinners. Her family was her world, and she instilled those values in her children, Mark F. Hazzard(Chelsea) and Lachelle Courtright(Matt). Her grandchildren, Mark S. Hazzard and Bradley Courtright, were the apples of her eye, and she adored creating memories with them.
Tabatha is survived by her devoted husband, Mark S. Hazzard, and her children, alongside her beloved grandchildren, all of whom will continue to honor her legacy. She is also survived by her sister-like friend, Dana Givens, who held a special place in her heart. Tabatha was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Frederick Hazzard and mother-in-law, Margaret Hazzard.
Beyond her family, Tabatha reveled in activities that brought her joy, including taking memorable cruises and indulging in gambling during those trips. She had a special fondness for fishing and an endearing affection for stuffed animals, particularly skunks, as well as enjoying diamond art, which showcased her creative side.
