Stanley Carnell Gaskins

Stanley Carnell Gaskins, born on January 19, 1960, in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He lived a life dedicated to both his family and his work, as a drywall contractor and owner of SEG Drywall company.

Stanley's career was marked by hard work and determination. In the Tri County area he was an equipment operator and contractor throughout his life. 

Married to his beloved wife, Ella Judy Gaskins, for 46 years, Stanley was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his three sons, Stanley Gaskins Jr. and his wife Jessica, Russell Gaskins and his wife Kerry, and Pressley Gaskins and his wife Laura, a daughter, Jackie Clark, along with her husband, Shane. He was also a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren, whose lives he greatly impacted.

Stanley was not only known for his professional achievements but also for his hobbies and interests. He enjoyed fishing, collecting antiques and cars, farming, and was a devoted fan of Elvis Presley.

He is preceded in death by his father Clifton Gaskins, mother Etta Cumbee Gaskins, and sister Elva Gaskins Hill. The legacy he leaves behind is one of love, resilience, and hard work.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Russell Funeral Chapel in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. A visitation will be held on September 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Stanley will then be laid to rest at Westview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Russell Funeral Chapel to assist with expenses associated with the funeral.
