Miriam Ann Bishop Whittemore

Miriam Ann Bishop Whittemore, 79, of Orange City, Florida, died Friday in Orange City Hospice.

Mrs. Whittemore was born April 19, 1931, in Walterboro, S. C., the daughter of Pledger M. Bishop and Jessie Padgett Bishop. She was the widow of Robert G. "Bobby" Whittemore.

Surviving are her children: Sandra Lynn Gearon and her husband, Ken, of Deltona, FL; Clifford Hayes, Jr., and his wife, Janet, of Roswell, Ga; Herbert Hayes and his wife, Sabrina, of Oviedo, FL; and Robert "Bobby" Whittemore and his wife, Gretta, of Charleston; a sister - Helen Lunger of Gainesville, FL; and four grandchildren - Abbey Gearon; Alicia Gearon; Carri Hayes; and Easton Whittemore.

Her graveside funeral service will be Monday afternoon, December 20, at 1 o'clock in Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery, Charleston, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner.
