Miriam Morris

Miriam Bailey Morris, 89, of Goose Creek, widow of Douglas M. Morris, Sr., died Tuesday, April
20, 2010, in a Goose Creek nursing home.

Mrs. Morris was born January 25, 1921, at Jamestown, the daughter of Thomas P. Bailey and Faira
Grady Bailey.

She was a graduate of Berkeley High School and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are two sons – Douglas M. (Mac) Morris and his wife, Patricia, of Cross; and Dan S.
Morris and his wife, Mickey, of Lebanon; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great
great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be Thursday afternoon, April 22, 2010, at 3:00 o’clock in Bethel Baptist
Church in Bethera. Interment will follow in the church cemetery directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL
CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Relatives and friends may call at Russell Funeral Chapel this
Wednesday evening between 6 and 8 o’clock and at the church for one hour prior to the service on
Thursday.
