Marianne Keller Place

Marianne Keller Place, 71, of Goose Creek, widow of Richard Place, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012, in a North Charleston hospital.

Mrs. Place was born January 30, 1941, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, the daughter of Michael Keller and Elisabeth Delouise Keller.

Surviving are two sons - Herman Keller and his wife, Sissy, of Kaiserslautern, Germany; and John Place of Kaiserslautern, Germany; a daughter - Patricia M. Morris and her husband, Larry, of Summerville; two brothers - Karl Keller and Horst Keller, both of Kaiserslautern, Germany; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and her special dog, Trixie. She was preceded in death by a daughter - Ramona Place.

A memorial service for Mrs. Place will be held in Russell Funeral Chapel, Monday evening, May 21, 2012, at 7 o'clock. The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel Monday evening from 6 o'clock until the hour of service.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
