Margie Lee Valder Caldwell

CALDWELL, Margie Lee Valder, 66, of Summerville, S.C., died on Sunday, July 3, 2011, at a Charleston hospital.

Mrs. Caldwell was born on May 23, 1945, in Geneva, N.Y., the daughter of Lee Valder and Mildred Arnold Valder. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife to her husband of 45 years, Glen M. Caldwell. She loved to dance, ice skate and camp. She was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she is survived by 2 daughters, Janice M. Caldwell of John’s Island and Jennifer L. Caldwell of Summerville; a son, Jeffrey M. Caldwell of Miami, FL; 3 brothers, Larry Valder, John Valder and Chuck Valder all of NY; 5 grandchildren, Jayson Ryan Caldwell, Andrew Hines, Laney Kanapaux, Truman Bodie and Jackson Bodie

A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Caldwell on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at 7:00 PM at Russell Funeral Chapel, 107 West Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 6:00 PM at the Chapel.
