Louise G. Edens

Louise Gatlin Edens, 91, of Alvin, widow of Carl S. Edens, died Tuesday
evening in a Charleston hospital


Mrs. Edens was born December 3, 1917, in Berkeley County, the daughter
of Edward Gatlin and Minnie Jackson Gatlin.


Surviving are two daughters - Ida Bell Edens of Alvin; and Janette Hall and her
husband, Jerry, of Alvin; a grandson - Eddie Crawford and his wife, Lisa, of
St. Stephen; 2 great grandsons - Hunter Davis Crawford of Alvin; and Patrick Edison
Crawford and his wife, Breanne of North Charleston; and many caring nieces
and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a great grandson - Chaz Austin
Crawford.


Her funeral service will be Friday morning, September 18, 2009, at 11 o'clock
directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Interment
will follow in Edens Cemetery in Alvin. Relatives and friends may call at Russell
Funeral Chapel from 6 until 8 P.M. Thursday.
