Linda Carol Trabont Williams, a dedicated educator and cherished family member, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, in Summerville, South Carolina. Born on July 20, 1947, in Snohomish, Washington, Linda devoted over 20 years of her life to teaching at Flanagan High School in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Her commitment to education left an indelible mark on the students she inspired and shaped throughout her career.
Beyond her professional life, Linda enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a loving mother to her two daughters, Dawn Marie Raphael (Stu) and Shannon Monrique (Jose), and a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, Ethan and Lyla Monrique. Her brother, Tim Trabont, along with her nieces and nephews—Kerry Trabont, Kristy Trabont, and Kurt Trabont—will also hold her memories dear.
Linda had been member of Glades Presbyterian Church. She will be remembered not only for her contributions to education and her church but also for the love and kindness she extended to those around her.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Trabont and Colleen Rozella McCasland Trabont, who provided her with a strong foundation and values that she carried throughout her life.
As we remember Linda, we celebrate her life, her passion for teaching, and her unwavering love for family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
