Linda Fowler Myers, a beacon of love and joy, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on July 10, 1950 in Conway, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Willie Otto Fowler and Jean Smith Fowler. She grew up in Goose Creek, SC and graduated from Berkeley High School in 1969. One year after graduation, in 1970, she married her high school sweetheart.
Linda worked for William Heller for several years before joining CR Bard, where she retired in 2011 after 31 years of service. Linda was a long time member of First Baptist Church, Moncks Corner, where she worked in the nursery while her children were young.
Linda was the heart of her family. A woman whose love knows no boundaries and whose joy radiated most brightly when she was surrounded by those she loved. She devoted her life to her family and her happiest moments were spent shopping, hosting family gatherings and cheering on her grandkids from the bleachers. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Her unwavering support, encouragement and presence left a lasting impact that will be carried on with them forever.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, David Phillip “Dude” Myers, Sr, her son, David Phillip "Buzzy" Myers, Jr (Kelley) of Blythewood, SC, and her daughter, Stephanie Myers Randall (Brian) of Columbia, SC. She was a sister to Wanda Fowler Davega (Jaime) of Chesterfield, Missouri, Jeanne Abbott and Sandy Dewar (Douglas), brother, Lawrence Melvin Fowler of Goose Creek, SC; brother-in-law and sister-in-law to Kym and Jinx Myers of Moncks Corner.
She is the proud grandmother to Hannah Myers, Alex Myers, Bryson Patterson, Blake Patterson, Emma Claire Randall and Harper Randall. Linda's nieces and nephews—Freddie Shipley, Kerie Myers Price, Ky Myers, Korey Myers, Brittany Zoldan (Andrew), Richie Cutrer, Monica Cutrer and Connor Davega—also held a special place in her heart.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Jean Fowler; her in-laws, Kirton Young and Lorrayne Myers; and sister-in-law, Deborah Myers Shipley.
The family would like to thank the following for their special love and care: caregivers, Karen VanCleve and Cynthia Middleton; the staff of Interim Healthcare of Charleston; Dr. Clay Anderson and Julia Welch of Palmetto Primary Care - St. Stephen, as well as the nurses and staff at Lake Moultrie Health and Rehab.
