Lawton Alfred Beckett

Lawton Alfred Beckett, Sr. 67, of Moncks Corner, self employed carpenter and truck driver, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013.

Lawton was born June 20, 1945, in Charleston, a son of Jesse Beckett and Dorothy Brown Beckett Hilton.

Surviving are his wife, Donna Davis Beckett; 6 daughters - Tiffaney Beckett and Kimberly Beckett, both of Moncks Corner; Mary Beth Beckett of Summerville; Karen Beckett, Loretta Beckett and Sharon Beckett, all of Aiken; a son - Lawton "L.A." Beckett, Jr., of Moncks Corner; 4 brothers; 10 sisters; 3 grandchildren - Cameron Beckett; Hayleigh Cann and Kassi Almeida.

The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel, Moncks Corner, Monday evening, February 4, 2013, between 6 and 8 o'clock. A memorial service will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon, February 9, 2013, Lions Beach.
