Joseph L Goings

Joseph L. Goings, 70, of Moncks Corner, died Friday morning, in Veterans
Victory House Nursing Home, in Walterboro.


Mr. Goings was born October 8, 1939, in St. Stephen, a son of Phillip Goings
and Irene Timmons Goings.


He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, and a Master Mason.
Mr. Goings was retired as a self employed floor re-finisher.


Surviving are 2 daughters - Theresa Moore of Goose Creek; and Pamela Price
and her husband, Pat, of Norfolk, VA.; 3 sons - William Goings and his wife,
Jennifer, of Goose Creek; Jerry Goings of Summerville; and LaGrand Snellgrove of Indiana; 2 sisters -
Lucille Carter; and Irene Huckabee; 5 brothers - Phillip Goings; Dick Goings;
Alton Goings; Ben Goings; and Buddy Goings; 9 grandchildren and 2 great
grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a sister - Agnes Skinner.


Mr. Goings funeral service will be at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner,
Sunday evening, December 13, at 6 o'clock. Friends may call at Russell Funeral
Chapel from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. Sunday. Burial will be at a later date.
