James "Bubba" Mallory Jackson, 64, of Summerville, husband of Candace Brenton Jackson, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017.
James was born October 22, 1952, in Berkeley County, a son of James Mallory Jackson, Sr. and Virginia Helen McCutcheon.
A graduate of Macedonia High School, James retired after 31 years from the maintenance department of Short Stay. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed turkey and deer hunting. He also enjoyed reading spy novels.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a half brother-James Harvey Chance of Harleyville; a son- Daniel Jackson; an aunt Sarah Jackson of Macedonia; many nieces and nephews.
His graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Macedonia, Wednesday morning, May 3, 2017, at 11 o'clock.
