James G. "Jim" Edwards, a cherished member of the Moncks Corner community and a dedicated family man, passed away on August 14, 2025, at The Village at Summerville. Born on July 18, 1936, in Conway, S.C., Jim lived a life marked by service, dedication, and love for his family and friends.
Jim's professional journey was distinguished and multifaceted. He served as the Project Supervisor of Power Plant Construction at Santee Cooper, where his leadership and expertise earned him respect and admiration. His passions extended to the Berkeley Sertoma Club, Berkeley Chapter Ducks Unlimited, and the NWTF Swamp Fox Chapter. Moreover, he served as both a member and Past President of the Moncks Corner Rotary Club and the Oceda Hunt Club. His time at the Moncks Corner United Methodist Church further illustrated his faith and commitment to serving others.
