Helen Harrell

Helen Harrell, born May 12, 1945, passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 81.

Helen will be remembered for the care she gave to her work, her family, and the simple joys that brought her happiness throughout her life. She worked for many years as a bartender at the C/O club and later at VFW Post 9509, where she became a familiar and valued presence to many who knew her. Outside of work, she enjoyed word search puzzles, working in the yard, and fishing with her father when she was younger. Above all, she loved her grandchildren and her family.

She is survived by daughters, Debbie Wedlake and her husband Clay andTrinity Jenkins and her husband Rob, and son, Tom Rainwater. She is also survived by her sisters, Deanna Patton and Nellie Jean Wells. Helen’s family circle also includes 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Rowland; her father, William Wells; her mother, Maizey Mangrum Wells; and five brothers.

Services will be private.
