George Andrew Brown Jr

George Andrew Brown, Jr., 86, of Moncks Corner, died Saturday, October 30, 2009, at his
residence.


Mr. Brown was born January 8, 1923, in Berkeley County, the son of George A Brown, Sr.,
and Rosie Oliver Brown.


He was a retired painter and he was an U.S. Army Veteran.


Surviving are two brothers - Frank F. Brown, Sr., of North Charleston; and Harry F. Brown of
Round O; 2 sisters - Cecile V. Walker of Richburg and Eleanor Reynolds of Round O; a
step-daughter - Debbie Talbert of Moncks Corner; three step-sons - Rocky Lawhorne of
Macedonia; Gary Lawhorne and Donnie Lawhorne, both of Moncks Corner. He was
predeceased by his wife - Jean Clark Brown and two brothers - Hubert F. Brown and Carl E.
Brown, Sr.


His graveside funeral service will be at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, November 2, 2009, in
Ebeneezer United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at RUSSELL
FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until noon.
