Evelyn Henry Beasley

Evelyn Henry Beasley, 71, of Moncks Corner, died Friday evening, February 19, 2010, at her home.

She was born May 24, 1938, in Columbus, OH., a daughter of William Henry and Gertrude Myers Henry.

Surviving are her former husband, Lenwood Beasley, Sr., of Moncks Corner; children – Lenwood Beasley, II, and his wife, Frances, of Hanahan; Belinda Pace of Moncks Corner; Ila Swann and her husband, Ronnie of Newman, GA; Jerry Lee Aldridge and Todd Alan Aldridge of Columbus, OH; a sister – Faith Henry of Columbus, OH; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Evelyn was a member of Cross Over Full Gospel Life Church and had been very active in Prison Ministries and Nursing Home Ministries. She had been a manager at the Port Oil Gas Station for a number of years prior to becoming ill.

Her funeral service will be at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, Monday afternoon, February 22, 2010, at 3 o’clock. Family and friends may call at Russell Funeral Chapel from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service on Monday. Entombment will be in Plantation Memorial Gardens.
