Donald Greer Strawn

Donald Greer Strawn, 69, USNavy retired, of St. Stephen, died Sunday, January 11, 2009, at Hospice of Charleston, in Mt. Pleasant, S. C.

His funeral service will be at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, January 13, 2009, at Life Baptist Church in St.Stephen. Burial will be in St. Stephen Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 12 noon until the hour of service on Tuesday.

Mr. Strawn was born July 20, 1939, at Florence, S. C., a son of Thomas Strawn and Carrie Jenkins Strawn.

Surviving are a brother - Frankin Strawn and his wife, Peggy, of St. Stephen; a sister - Darwyl Lee Valuenzula of Florence; and many nieces and nephews.
