Delores Williams Edwards

Delores "Dee" Williams Edwards, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on May 30, 1930, in Charleston, S.C., she lived a life rich in love, family, and passion for nature.

Dee was known for her nurturing spirit and dedication to her family. She is survived by her two sons, Douglas Styles and Dennis Styles, along with his wife Jo, brother, Wendell Williams and his wife Pat, five grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Dee found joy in the simple pleasures of working in her yard, where she spent countless hours tending to her beautiful flowers, particularly her beloved roses. Her passion for gardening was a reflection of her vibrant personality and love for life.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell A. Williams Sr. and Ruth Nix Williams, as well as her husband, William "Bill" Edwards. She also mourned the loss of her sons, James Russell Edwards and Homer Davis "Davey" Styles. 

A visitation will be held in her honor on November 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 2:00 PM. Both services will take place at Russell Funeral Chapel, located at 107 West Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Burial will follow in St. Johns Baptist Church Cemetery, Pinopolis, S.C..
