David Lewis Schofill, Jr.

David Lewis Schofill, Jr. 34, of Goose Creek, entered into eternal rest on March 2, 2023, in a local hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on October 11, 1988, in Charleston, SC, David was the son of Michael MacLean and Sivilla Camp MacLean.

After graduating from Stratford High School in 2006, David entered the food and beverage industry because of his love for people and the culinary arts. A Pub Tender and Associate for Madra Rue for many years, he was known as “the life of the party” and “the hot sauce connoisseur”, and for his wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed time spent with his friends, especially on their ghost-hunting adventures. David will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, David is survived by his birth father- David Lewis Schofill, Sr., and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister- Erica Schofill.

The family will hold a private memorial in David’s honor at a later date.
