David Lee Hammonds

David Lee Hammonds, 64, of Bonneau, died Tuesday, September 15, 2009,
at his residence.



Mr. Hammonds was born March 1, 1945, at Hemphill, W. VA., a son of Samuel
L. Hammonds and Nancy Jewell DeBoard Hammonds Cannon. He was a retired systems
analyst with Lucent Tech and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam war.


Surviving in addition to his mother, are a daughter, Shawn Sickle of Prince Frederick,
MD; a son - David Hammonds and his wife Kary of Lusby, MD; 2 brothers - Billy Hammonds and his
wife Juanita of Bonneau; Lindsey Hammonds and his wife Lena of Maryland;
2 sisters - Bertha Stauter of Maryland; Linda Sue Weatherford of Atlanta, GA; 3 grandchildren;
and his caregiver/friend, Carey Langston of Bonneau.


A memorial service for Mr. Hammonds will be held at Russell Funeral Chapel Friday evening, September 25, 2009, at 6 o'clock.
