Charleston

Danielle DePasquale Tucholke, born February 10, 1974 in Havertown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026 in Charleston, South Carolina. Her passing leaves a profound absence in the hearts of her loved ones and all who knew her.

Danielle’s warmth, compassion, and dedication touched every chapter of her life. She achieved her Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies, which laid the academic foundation for a long and respected career. For more than twenty years, Danielle built a reputation as a distinguished Medical Aesthetician, working for plastic surgeons in the Philadelphia area. During the last four years of her career, she realized her dream by operating her own skincare practice before choosing to retire from the industry, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and genuine care for her clients.

Her true calling, however, extended beyond her career. Danielle’s passion lay in animal rescue, a commitment that defined much of her life outside of work. She was known throughout her community as a tireless advocate for the welfare of animals, collaborating with numerous local rescue organizations. Danielle’s generous spirit led her to adopt more than thirteen dogs over the years and foster dozens more, providing countless animals with loving homes and second chances.

Danielle’s personal life was filled with love and strong family bonds. She is survived by her devoted husband, Matthew Tucholke, with whom she shared many cherished years and adventures. Danielle is lovingly remembered by her parents, Carmen and Anita DiJulio; her brothers, Carmen and Michael DiJulio; her stepdaughter, Sarah Tucholke; her stepson, Alex Tuchole; her mother-in-law, Brigette Tucholke; and her father-in-law, Reinhold. Each of them holds memories of Danielle’s kindness, gentle humor, and unwavering support.

Among her proudest recent accomplishments, Danielle and her husband took a bold step, relocating in February 2026 from West Chester, Pennsylvania to Charleston, South Carolina. They looked forward to exploring life together in a new city, filled with hope and anticipation for the adventures ahead.

Danielle DePasquale Tucholke will be deeply missed, but her legacy of compassion, service, and love lives on in the many lives she touched—both human and animal. Those fortunate to know her will remember her steadfast generosity, engaging spirit, and heartfelt devotion to making the world kinder for others.
