Cynthia Ray

Cynthia Anne Evans Ray, 70, of Moncks Corner, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017.

Cynthia was born January 18, 1947 in Lancaster, a daughter of John Wesley Evans, Jr. and Betty Lou Small Evans.

A graduate of Lancaster High School, Cynthia was the owner and operator of an in home childcare facility. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a member of First Presbyterian Church of Moncks Corner and a breast cancer survivor.

Surviving are a daughter- Kim Murchison of Moncks Corner; a brother- Kenneth Evans of Lancaster; four grandchildren- Colin Murchison, Austin Murchison, Owen Murchison and Lydia Murchison. She was predeceased by a daughter- Dixie Lea Ray and a sister- Melinda Evans Fridley.

Her memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Moncks Corner, Sunday afternoon, January 7, 2018, at 3 o’clock.
