Christopher Lance Britt, known and loved by many, passed away on July 8, 2026, in Jamestown, SC. Born on April 21, 1985, in Charleston, SC, Christopher’s life was one characterized by hard work, a deep connection to his family, and a quiet strength that will be remembered always.

A graduate of Timberland High School, Christopher embraced the values of dedication and perseverance early in life. He channeled these qualities into his work as an iron worker in the construction field, where his diligence and skill earned the respect of colleagues and friends. Christopher’s commitment to his craft reflected his steadfast character and his enduring work ethic.

Beyond his career, Christopher found great joy in the outdoors. He valued the simple pleasures of life—riding his motorcycle on open roads, spending peaceful mornings hunting, and savoring the tranquility of fishing. These passions spoke to his love for adventure and his appreciation of nature’s calm, offering him solace and joy throughout his years.

Family was central to Christopher’s world. He is survived by his beloved grandmother, Ruth Martin Thomas, whose wisdom and warmth guided him throughout his life. He also leaves behind his uncle Roy Cooper, his aunt Jackie Cooper, his cousins Travis Cooper, Danielle Blume, and Shallon McConnell, and his fiancée, Crystal, whose love and companionship brought great joy to his life.

Christopher is preceded in death by his father, Marty Robin Britt, his mother, Tammy Brady Britt, and his brother, Marty Britt Jr. While their passing left a profound mark on his heart, Christopher honored their memories through the bonds he maintained with his remaining family and the values they instilled in him.
