With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Charles Edward Anderson, known affectionately as Uncle Kracker, who departed this world on 23 February 2026 in Moncks Corner, SC at the age of 47. Charlie was born on 16 April 1978 in Norfolk Virginia to Ann Anderson Flowers and Robin Duane Shedd. He was preceded in death by his father as well as his paternal grandparents, Betty Jean Love Shedd and John Williams Shedd, and his maternal grandparents, John Johnston and Joann Johnston.
In his life, Charlie touched the hearts of many with his warm smile and kind nature. He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family, friends, and community. Charlie is survived by his mother, Ann Flowers (Frank), and his cherished children, Charlie Anderson, Jr., Drake Anderson and Luke Anderson, his brothers Thomas Anderson (Hailey), Zach "Buckshot" Kidd (Jessica), his fiancé Chelsea Brinson, bonus daughters Sarah Brinson, Savannah Brinson, Faith Brinson and his nieces and nephew: Cloey Anderson, Owen Anderson, and Eleanor Anderson, his grand pup, Ivory. He is also survived by his Aunt and Uncle Susan and Howard Broadway, cousins Hunter (Lindsey) and Chelsea and his Mepkin family. They will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
He made countless contributions to society through his work and dedication. Charlie’s hobbies included fishing, hunting, mudding, and was an all around sportsman. His passion for outdoor adventures brought joy to those around him and created lasting memories especially for the children he shared his love and knowledge with at the annual Mepkin Kids Hunt.
A man of strength and wisdom, Charlie will be remembered for the love he shared and the impact he made on those around him. His spirit will live on through the stories and memories shared by all who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service to honor Charlie's life will be held on Monday, 02 March 2026 at 2:00 pm at Santee Circle Community Church, located at 1258 N U.S. Hwy 52, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Charlie’s memory to a charity of your choice. As we bid farewell to Charles Edward Anderson, we find solace in the cherished moments we shared and the legacy of love he leaves behind. May his memory be a blessing and may he rest in eternal peace.
