Bruno Antoni Strzalka, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on November 9, 1946, in Naples, Italy, a son of Michal Strzalka and Maria Smuk Strzalka.
Bruno dedicated six years of his life to serving in the Army National Guard, an experience that instilled in him values of discipline and camaraderie that he carried throughout his life. Whether it was drawing, woodworking, traveling to new destinations, or tending to his garden, Bruno approached each pursuit with joy and enthusiasm.
One of Bruno’s proudest accomplishments was the enduring partnership he shared with his beloved wife, Maria Fesiak Strzalka. Their marriage of 50 years was a testament to their love and mutual respect, setting an inspiring example for their family and friends. Together, they built a warm and welcoming home filled with laughter and cherished memories.
Bruno’s is survived by his sons, Gregory Strzalka and his wife Susan and Christopher Strzalka; a daughter, Cathleen Strzalka Read and her husband Benjamin. He was a grandfather to Michael Strzalka and Alexander Strzalka.
He is also survived by his brother John Strzalka and his wife Alice, and his brother Caz Strzalka, all of whom will miss him dearly.
His memorial service and inurnment will take place at Mepkin Abbey, Saturday morning, September 13, 2025.
