Barbara Stalvey Bobbitt, 91, of St. Stephen, passed away peacefully at her home on October 1, 2026. Born on December 15, 1934, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Jesse E. Stalvey and the late Ann Louise Huggins Stalvey. Barbara was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert K. Bobbitt Sr., whose companionship and love were a central part of her life. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Sellars.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Bobbitt Jr. and Mike Bobbitt and his wife Susan, her daughter, Sandy Campbell, her sister, Maxine Rash, five grandchildren, Chelsea Breland, Kristen Stickney, Megan Bobbitt, Katelyn Riberiro, and Madison Bobbitt, and three great-grandchildren, Tucker Breland, Lainey Breland, and Campbell Stickney.

Barbara devoted many years of service to her community through her work as head teller at the bank in St. Stephen, where she was respected for her professionalism, reliability, and friendly manner.

She was an avid reader who loved books and treasured the stories and knowledge they offered. She also collected books and maintained a large doll collection that brought her happiness over the years. Above all, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren, and those moments were among the most treasured of her life.
