Alexis Lea Cosson

Alexis Lea Cosson, 50, of Moncks Corner, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Alexis was born May 27, 1971 in Winter Haven, Florida, a daughter of Terry Wayne Agerton and Ella Merle Smith Fuqua.

Having obtained a BSN, Alexis worked as a nurse in Colorado, Florida and South Carolina. She had been an active member of Alice Drive Baptist Church in Sumter, loved animals and enjoyed shopping.

Surviving are her mother- Ella Fuqua and her husband, Larry of Fl.; her father- Terry Agerton and his wife, Cindy, of Ga.; children- Heather Pocorobba and her husband, Bretton, of Va; Tiffani Kettoman and her husband, Brock, of SC; Srgt. Corbin Cosson and his wife, Christian, of Ky.; Ellana Cosson of SC; grandchildren- Rylee Kettoman, Morgan Cosson, Alexandra Pocorobba, Robert Cosson and Carson Kettoman; sisters- Theresa Moran and her husband, Dan; Heather Havis and her husband, Chuck; Candy Wesson. Alexis was predeceased by a daughter- Courtney Cosson and a grandson- John Cosson.

The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel Tuesday morning June 15, 2021 from 10 o'clock until 11:30 a.m.
