Warren Douglas Bates Sr.

Warren Douglas Bates, Sr., of Summerville, a retired autobody repairman and husband of Roswitha Bates, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Mr. Bates was born May 2, 1935, in Greenville, SC, a son of James Horace Bates and Rose Hazel Grice Bates.

Surviving are two daughters- Lisa Mitchell of Clover, SC; Cathy Langley and her husband, Tommy of Greenville, SC; one son- Michael Douglas Bates and his wife, Jennifer of Rock Hill, SC; one sister- Juanita Watkins of Fair Play, SC. He was predeceased by his wife, Roswitha Bates; one son- Warren Douglas Bates, Jr., and one daughter- Patricia Ashe.
