Esther Vernell (Rilee) Ellisor

Esther Vernell (Rilee) Ellisor, 89, of Moncks Corner, widow of Leonard Lonnie Ellisor, entered into eternal rest on April 1, 2023. She will be remembered for her spunkiness and willingness to help others and greatly missed. Born on June 28, 1933, in Glouster, VA, Esther was the daughter of the late William Edward Rilee and Edith Rilee. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies, the Crunch Brunch, and St Michaels Lutheran Church where she had remained active.

Esther is survived by three daughters- Betty Fahl (Victor Nowack), and Susan Cox both of Summerville and Rebecca Dean (Robert Smith) of Moncks Corner; brother Frank Rilee of Suffolk, VA; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband Leonard Lonnie Ellisor and son William Edward Ellisor.

Her funeral service will be held at St. Michaels Lutheran Church, Moncks Corner, Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens directed by Russell Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 10:00 am until the hour of the service.
