Peter Joseph Rihbany

Peter Joseph Rihbany, 72, of Moncks Corner, husband of 40 years to Ellen Stone Rihbany, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019.

Peter was born April 16, 1947 in New Bedford, Ma. A son of Joseph Peter Rihbany and Vivian Pimental Rihbany.

A 1968 graduate of Southeastern Massachusetts University, Peter worked in the textile industry; he spent 17 years at the Santee River Wool Mill. He served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.  Peter was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, tennis, golf and shooting hoops. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children- April Rihbany of Taunton, Ma; Jason Sessoms of Summerville; Joseph “Joey” Peter Rihbany of Taunton, Ma; Kathryn “Katy” Rihbany of Moncks Corner; a granddaughter- Samantha Rihbany of Taunton, Ma.; a sister- Linda Rihbany of Taunton, Ma.; his three beloved dogs- Riley, Bella and Rufus.

His graveside service will be held at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner, Friday morning, July 26, 2019, at 11 o’clock.
