Linda Kay (Nix) Murray

Linda Kay Nix Murray, 72, of Bonneau passed away Sunday September 1, 2019.

 Linda was born September 21, 1946 in Berkeley County, a daughter of the late Claudie Nix and Elouise Harris Nix.

A former employee of Reliable Electric, Linda had also worked as an insurance agent. She enjoyed painting, camping, being outdoors, visiting the mountains and genealogy.

Surviving are a daughter- Karen Morris Mills and her husband, David of Bethera; a son- Brad Morris and his wife, Dawn of Bethera; three sisters- Carole Nix of Melbourne,  Florida; Claudette Knight and her husband, Randy of Tiditoute, Pennsylvania; Cheryl Best and her husband, James of Bonneau; a brother- Mike Nix and his wife, Teresa of Moncks Corner; four grandchildren- Christin Morris and her husband, Ronnie; Jessica Davis and her husband, Dennis; Amber Etheredge and her husband, Justin and Luke Morris; seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a sister- Nina Cox and brother- Larry Nix.

Her funeral service will be held at Hickory Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church, Tuesday afternoon September 3, 2019 at 2 o'clock. Interment will follow in St. Stephen Baptist Cemetery, directed by Russell Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon until the hour of service.
