Frank Milton Pender

Frank Milton Pender, 76, of Bonneau, husband of 47 years to Phyllis Anne Chambers Pender, passed away, Sunday, March 3, 2019.   

Frank was born January 30, 1943 in Charleston, a son of Charles Milton Pender and Vera Infinger Pender.

A proud member of the Summerville High School Football Team, Frank was a beloved husband and father who enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed watching football and Nascar on television. Frank was a member of First Baptist Church of Bonneau  and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons- Randall Scott Pender of Ladson and Frank Troy Pender of Hollywood; one granddaughter- Francis “Frankie” Lynn Pender. In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by two sisters- Sylvia Pender and Sally Pender and one brother- Zan Pender.

The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel, Saturday evening March 9, 2019 from 5 to 7 o’clock. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Bonneau on Saturday March 16, 2019 from 4 to 6 o'clock. There will be a reception to follow in the church social hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to the charity of one’s choice.
