David H. Rollinson, Jr.

David Hencil Rollinson, Jr., 50, of Macbeth, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019.

David was born March 16, 1968 in Charleston, son of Gail Hart Moore Metts and the late David H. Rollinson, Sr.

A graduate of Berkeley High School, David went on to obtain a business degree from the College of Charleston. He worked in the trucking and car auction business, he spent several years in Texas working construction with his father. After returning to this area, he also worked as a substitute teacher at Berkeley Middle and High School. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed fitness and body building.  

Surviving in addition to his mother are his step father- Doug Metts, Sr. of Macbeth; step brother- Dougie Metts, Jr. and his wife, Miki, of Pinopolis; a very dear brotherly friend-Timmy Brant and his wife, April, of Moncks Corner.

A memorial service will be held at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, Wednesday afternoon February 6, 2019 at 3 o’clock. The family will receive friends following the service.
